Hello guys, what do you use for cutting holes in metal such as thick steel or copper? I mean any alternative to metal hole saw. I want to buy a set of hole cutters. Have you tried it? Is it more convenient?

LOL....what do you consider thick ?
i consider 1/4'' and up thick and use a torch or plasma cutter
or you can use a 1/4 metal bit, then a step bit or unibit
different bits for different jobs, what exactly are you cutting

stainless steel... is very very hard.
this is how you cut stainless. low rpm, lots of pressure, keep the bit cool with oil
by low rpm, i mean drill turning slow, press down hard. if your bit gets hot, it will burn up,
drill a small hole, then larger, .

Greenlee knock out cutter set . Have used them for longer than I wish to think .
But , not a cheap answer & may not be the sizes you need .
