I need help with identification of a shower diverter valve

This shower controller was in our house when we bought it and we have no documentation regarding the manufacturer.

I believe the diverter cartidge has malfunctioned making it exceptionally difficult to change the sprayer head and making the water pressure exiting the showerhead lower.

The shower head is HansGrohe, but I have contacted their customer service and they state the controllers do not appear to be their product.

The only identifying information is a label that says "Tosca" but I can't find much on the internet

Please see attached photos.

I appreciate any help/direction you may have

You are going to have to take it apart and try to make it guts.
A lot of high end designer valves use another manufactures core valve.

1 Example. WaterRidge uses Symmons temptrol valves.

Good call on the Moen valve thread

I was able to replace the cartridge directly with the Moen cartridge.... and would have been a 5-minute job if the knuckleheads who installed the tile cut out an appropriately-sized hole!

this required an emergency trip to get an angle grinder so I could grind/cut an opening wide enough to remove the cartridge!

What an F-ing mess.

Thanks
