I am doing a bathroom remodel and the new shower that replaces the fiberglass tub shower has a slightly larger footprint that the prior tub/shower. This leaves approximately 14 inches from the center line of the toilet flange to the shower curb. The curb is to the right of the toilet. Is this enough room? I think the min is 15" Would buying a narrower (elongated) toilet help? or should I move the toilet drain? Thanks for any input.

That is cutting it pretty close. Try using an offset closet flange. That should gain you about 2" and you won't have to add/move any pipe...if that is too much work, the make toilets with offset outlets that essentially do the same thing.

Looks like I am just gonna move it what is the preferred distance 18"?
