Sharkbite to pex

So my dad and I were working on a shut off valve for the cold water to the clothes washer. I worked in excavation digging foundations, we did our own water fittings. Considering this was a while ago, I forgot that you need only remove the white insert fitting for the copper side. So unfortunately I attached the pex into the Sharkbite without this white insert, it does not leak for the moment. So Iam just curious if I decreased the life of the pex inside the Sharkbite or it will just eventually fail, or it will be fine if it does not get messed with? Any input would be appreciated

Without that insert, at some point that shark bite will come apart. If you're going to redo it...buy a crimping tool and throw those push fittings away.
