Why would a hose adapter have small pipe lines sticking out off it connected to other parts of the adapter ?
Maybe an anti-backflow device? :dunno:

from the arrows on the thing i believe it is a 3 way valve
for what, i dunno. take a picture of the front of it
i can see a nomenclature but cant read it
high pressure/low pressure/ bypass?

The Aquatron is an Electronic Pump Controller. Electronic Pump Controllers allow the pump to start automatically when a tap is opened on the discharge of the pump and stop when the tap is closed. They also provide run-dry protection for the pump
