Can anyone help identify manufacturer & style of this shower faucet?

Can you get a picture of the valve with the handle and coverplate off? A rotating handle with onboard diverter is somewhat generic.

I am replacing one that is very similar on Tuesday, it is a Zurn.

We have taken the escutcheon, handle and packing nut off. The stem has "Symmons 0697" stamped on it. Haven't taken the spindle out yet. I have seen all kinds of Symmons stems/spindles on line, but not any with such a long splined stem.

Try an image search for a Symmons. looks like a symmons except that long brooch on the stem
