Hello all. A new neighbor bought a property with a new well already drilled. Well is 300' feet deep. It is 6" steel cased 100' and 4" schedule 40 (I think) to bottom. The question is the 4" PVC casing is all the way to the top of the steel casing. We need to use pitless adapters here with at least 6' of bury depth.
This means the PVC is about 8' too high measured from the bottom of the well. The pump people say the PVC needs to be cut off below the pitless adapter.
Question is how does one cut the PVC after it is installed?
Original guy who did well is gone. No longer in town.
