Default Oatey and Ebbe drain

Here is a question i got from a customer and i need help with

Thank you

I recently purchased 2 different products from your website...
1) the Ebbe square drain riser. Your website says that it is compatible
with Oatey 3 piece shower drains. I purchased one of these from Lowes, but
when I got home, the Ebbe does not properly thread into the Oatey drain.
The thread pattern is slightly off, and the thread width is not the same,
creating an overall sloppy fit, although it does thread onto it all the is still very sloppy. There are no other local stores that sell
any of the other brands mentioned; Pacso, IPS, Jones, Stevens, etc...
Do you have a solution for me?

I'd recommend they buy matching parts.
