Default Water loop

I am wanting to connect a portable washing machine to a hot water heater. The washing machine only has one inlet. This washer is made to connect to a facuet. Please see image. Will this make a loop and cause problems?

Thanks, Bone2

You will need a check valve on both the hot and cold water line feeding the clothes washer.
