Roman tub faucet identification

Hi

First time posting! I need help identifying this valve on my Roman tub. Also, how do I remove the white ring as I assume it needs to come off to take out the valve. I thought it was moen but not sure.

Ok, the white plastic piece came off easily. It was simply holding on the escutcheon. How do I remove the valve?
