Lived in my home since 2005. About 1 year ago my main sewer pipe backed up. A camera showed that my pipe has sunk down a bit where it taps into the city sewer. No sewer work has been done on the city line, or mine, so I don’t know what caused the problem. Can something like this be fixed with a liner?

NO. A liner will not help.
They did a bad job of compacting soil under drain before the laid it.
The only way to fix it is to dig it up.

You'll pay an arm and a leg to get it lined. Plus, since it is a liner. It will take the shape of the preexisting pipe. Not a good idea. Dig it up and repair it.

I agree with Mr. David and Justin. You will have to dig it up and remove the bad pipe, put gravel in the dip and keep tamping until it's solid and put new pipe back in and cover with gravel all around pipe and then refill with dirt.
