Bought my house 3 years ago and it had a Bosch AE125 Tankless water heater. It was installed in 2005 when the house was built. Seems to work OK but just wondering what the life cycle of these are and what if any maintenance might be needed after this amount of time.

Depending on how hard your water is, it needs to be descaled every so often. Flame sensors and thermistors can be cleaned. Fans need to be cleaned out.
 
Thanks for the info. Guess I need to have it checked out. Will contact a local plumber.
