Hello All,
I'm trying to replace or fix if possible my shower faucet.
Im assuming I'm suppose to turn the actual faucet anti clockwise to remove the cartridge.
For some reason I can't unscrew the front part.
It won't turn. There was a plastic ring inside the lever where you turn it up or down and I was able to pull out that plastic ring with pliers. I'm still not sure why it's not turning or if I'm unscrewing it the proper way.
Can some one please take a look at this picture and tell me if you know which type of faucet I have or how to fix it.

I added another picture here: the rubber ring came out of #3

I tried unscrewing the parts #1 and #2 separately to see if it moved with no luck. I appreciate any feedback.
