Hi All,

New to Forum and looking for advice!

The shut off valve isn't working and needs to be replaced. It is soldered on to the copper pipe and wanted to know if I do the following:
1. Saw off the old valve
2. Install a new valve using a nut and compression ring over the bare copper pipe

Is this the best/easiest way? If not, please advise.

Thanks!!
