Hi all, I'm new here to ask about a mysterious phenomenon. It's really weird. There is one shower that in the past months starts to randomly refuse to give me hot water despite me turning the faucet all the way and waiting for 10 minutes. It's totally random; other times just turning it up and waiting for a minute and hot water comes out. When hot water doesn't come out, turn it off and try again later, and here it comes! How strange is this? Also, my water heater is new and the entire house gets hot water very consistently other than this one shower, so I'm pretty sure it's the faucets fault, but just can't imagine what.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions!

A lot of shower valve have a balance spool in them and maybe hanging up. replace the cartridge assembly.
