Default RIDGID K-26 Drain Cleaner

I inherited a RIDGID/KOLLMANN K-26 drain cleaner. I don't have any directions with it. I checked for youtube videos but haven't found one for this model. I'm not sure if its broken as the snake does not extend or retract if I spin it. Can anybody help? Thank You.

P.S. Am I supposed to pull the snake out manually, tighten it so the handle will rotate it, and pull the snake back manually?

Default

I got it. I extended it and retracted it manually. Just twist the nose piece to lock it in place and turn the handle to rotate. Untwist the nose piece and retract it into the body. Worked well. I used to do this with a snake that just had a metal sleeve that you'd lock on with a thumb screw....the snake would go all over the place and take a loooong time to work. This K-26 got the clog in seconds and I was able to work it through the trap very quickly. Quite a time saver.
