Hello guys,I'm new to this forum and also not a very good plumber. My septic system operates at about max volume and thought to relieve some of the load on it by diverting the gray water outside to water the lawn and flower beds.
The kitchen and bathroom sink would be easy, but I'm not sure about the shower. I already put the clothes washer outside and it's legal in this area.
(very secluded)
The toilet and shower drains are about 3 ft. apart and I'm not sure they are connected. Do they usually join together at some point or would I have to break some concrete to seperate them?
Any help would be appreciated or am I wasting my time? (slab floor) Thanks,Ray

You would almost certainly have to break up some concrete to separate the drainage. And, depending on the design of the venting system, it might make the vent for the toilet a flat dry vent (against code in many areas) if the tub drain was separated from the rest of the bathroom drainage.
