I am looking to replace the trim kit on my shower/tub which has a very old fixture on it. I cannot find anything in the box stores that fit. Does anyone know what this type of fixture is called or where I might be able to find a replacement? If not I may just liquid a new backplate and seal with caulk. Thanks much. Photos attached.

I KNEW what kind of valve that was, I just couldn't remember the name. Then when Cad said Symmons, I had an "Aha" moment.

I worked on a bunch of them that dripped really bad (brand new) right after I got started in the trade. We had the manufacturer's rep out, I changed washers, cartridges, & seats, trying to get those darn things to hold.

Thanks for the info, I checked it out on their website. Looks like the full valve is $178. What I would like to do is get the backplate(not sure if that is the correct term) that would line up with the existing screw holes. Do you think my best option is to put in a whole new valve?

Thanks again
