The bathtub and toilet are both backing up. I know the drainage line goes from the tub to the sink and ends at the toilet. Tried liquid plumber and its little snake along with plunging both tub and toilet. When plunging one air bubbles come up in the other. Got on the roof thinking the vent pipe might have been clogged but there's no vent pipes up there. The closest thing to a vent is a sewer vent behind the washer but its on a whole different line. Nothing has worked so far so any help will be extremly appreciated. Thank you

You have a stoppage in the main line beyond were the tub connects to the main line. Drain cleaners won't work. The line needs to be snaked with a large sewer machine. Not something a DIY should try. Call a plumber that has the correct equipment and the knowledge to use it. Be sure to tell him that you put drain cleaner in the line. Some of that stuff can cause sever burns.
