Hoping someone out there can recognize this...

I'm trying to remove an old faucet from this sink and ive run into an interesting thin nut that is caulked in place. Is there a special wrench out there that would fit what is in the picture?

Thanks alot!

Hi John. I have a standard basin wrench but this nut is too wide and thin for it. I guess it's not obvious from the picture. I can come back with a rough diameter laterbit I think it is around 2 1/2 inches

Yeah definitely basin wrench, I like the ones that you can extend. Makes it much easier to deal with different clearances under a sink

Yeah, a basin wrench.

But am I the only guy who absolutely HATES basin wrenches? When you gotta use them, you gotta, but I always hate the experience.
