I have a vacuum breaker in my patio that needs to be replaced. I know I need to loosen the pinch bolt but there seems to be nothing to grab a hold of (slot, Philips, hex, nothing). I don't know if the screw head was deformed or there's a trick involved. Please see photo. Thanks!

The vacuum breaker (BFP) set screw is design to breaker away when tighten. If you are handy with a drill drill it out or replace the hose bibb.

Thank you for your help, IFIXH20! Will try to drill out the screw.

That hose bid looks like it will unscrew rom the wall fitting. Turn off the water unscrew it wrap the new a couple times with some Teflon tape and screw it back in use 2 wrenches. one on the hose bib and the other on the wall fitting.

10 min job

Might even be a compression type fitting. Can't really tell, If so 15 min job

The small rusted part at the base of the VB is the remaining part of a set screw that breaks away when tightened...easiest repair is shut off main, replace hose bib....those style are usually male or female and will unscrew from its adapter...be sure to use back up if possible when doing so to prevent disturbing the next fitting.
