Hi,
I plan on running a new copper pipe from the main water line. I intend to add a T junction just after the pressure regulator. The main line is a 1" internal diameter pipe but the current pipe that feeds the hose (that I will T off) has an internal diameter of 3/4".

Question: Should I use a 3/4" or 1" pipe for the new pipe?

I plan on replacing all the pluming (both hot and cold water) in the house using this new line.

Thoughts?
Thanks,
Clarehills

Without knowing all of the details of the plumbing in your home, it would be safe to say that keeping it 1" is the best idea. You can always reduce the size of the pipe at the hose connection and as you repipe to other fixtures.

That was my guess but wanted to check with you guys first. Thanks very much!
Clarehills.
