Trying to pump from my pond to a tank. The pump has plenty of head to make it. I got a little trickle then it stopped. Wondering if my downsized line is to blame. I used some inch and a half utility line with about a foot of two inch pvc. Anything you think I can do to help me out of this jam.

1 1/2" and 2" is fairly large pipe, I don't think that is the problem. I am guessing it is a jet pump with something from the pond clogging the jet.

I don't know what utility line is. Can you explain? And is this line on the pressure or suction side?

There are different wall thicknesses of Poly. If your using the 80 PSI or even the 100 PSI variety, suction can collapse this pipe. That could explain your trickle then nothing experience.
