I have a pump system that pumps water and sewage from my bathroom to my septic tank. Yesterday i noticed when the pump kicks on it seems to be gurgling and splashing up into my kitchen sink. What is causing this problem and how can I fix it?

It could be the line going to the tanks is some what stopped up or the field system is not working good. If the tanks or full the water that is pumped will take the path of least resistance.

If its just splashing up and not staying in the sink, the line in between the house and the tanks may just need to be cleaned.
