Has anyone got a clean way to cut out wall studs w/o ruining or disturbing the other side of a wall? The drywall screws are tough to deal with but nails cut reasonably well.

I used a Multi-Tool with a saw blade to get under the studs and dead-end cut them to the drywall (Harbor Freight $39) but the blade would not cut the hard-dry wall screws. I had to use a $30 flush cut/carbide disc on a Roto Zip to cut them. There was a lot of wood burning going on that day...

I've always used a sawzall for light demo but one question I have is..."What is going to hold up the drywall if you remove the studs?"
