I have a doubt concerning analytical results from septic tanks. So if you have a water after the septic tank that has high BOD5 what does it mean? I know that if we have a high BOD5 it means that we have a lot of organic waste and so we will have a lot of bacteria do decompose that biological matter and we will have a high BODs. But with time this water will be treated in the septic tank, so we would expect that after the septic tank the BOD5 lowers.
