Getting tired of using tape or cloth on my tools to service fine finished products. Soft jaw/non marking tools seem to be harder to find then I thought.

Anyone got any contacts? Help is greatly appreciated

I don't use soft jaw tools but I do have a flat jaw stillson wrench I use for chrome finished things like Sloan flush valves and wall mount kitchen faucets.

or strap wrench. Rigid with web belt sucks. rubber strap type works better but they break .
I have used a strip of rubber gasket material with the Rigid Web strap

search for smooth jaw stillson wrench

different parts of the country call things by different names.

I went to Colorado to work a job. The hands their kept talking about a piece of machinery that was called an excavator
they way they talked, this thing was huge
Not being one to look dumb, I just hide and watch.
the day came for "the EXCAVATOR" to show up.
in rolls a flat bed trailer with a TRACK HOE on the back of it! what a let down

I have spud wrenches. Im talking about slip joint pliers or channel locks with non marking jaws.

What a bastard to find!

got a grinder? make em!!!!

disclaimer: face shield, leather gloves, leather chaps, steel toe boots. safety glasses, hearing protection
tuck in your shirt, no loose clothing, wear a rubber.
make sure all cords have the proper color tape for the inspection month
gfi plug,
put the damn guard back on the grinder, I know you took it off

I use Ridgid spud wrenches and these slip joint pliers all the time.
