Hey All,

I am installing a new shower stall, and the shower faucet has these small plastic inserts in the valve, that is splined on the inside and out. This piece on the Hot valve is broken, and the cold is cracked, and will soon be completely broken. Can anyone help me identify so I can try to obtain replacements? Any help is greatly appreciated!

Thanks!

What he said.^^^^

You will regret not doing it now.

What ou should be doing is installing a new code approved anti-scald faucet. You will never be in a better position to replace then you are at this point.

So, I've already cut the holes in the shower; can I install the aforementioned faucet using the existing holes in the shower wall? Is there such a faucet?

That valve you have looks to be a moen and takes 1224 cartridges. Install a moen positemp like the other guys mentioned
