I just want to ask, what is the most efficient way to tidy up aged copper fittings? I am NOT consulting about how to ready them for use. I intend to make them shimmer again.

I would really appreciate suggestions.

Many thanks,

Karl

I know Brasso worked well on belt buckles back in the 60's. It is used to shine Brass, Copper, Stainless Steel and Chrome. It sure sounds like a lot of work to me.

Thanks, a friend of mine said it's best in removing tarnishes. It's cheap too.

Anybody who was ever in the Army can tell you all about Brasso. We all had to use it to keep those belt buckles sparkling.

If there is corrosion from flux on the pipe/fitting it may start leaking. I know you want to make them shimmer again, just curious as to why.
