As a newly divorced woman (after 28 years) I am learning a thing or two about my home. One of which is that a septic tank needs to be pumped out at some point.
I do know that my tank has never been pumped out since I have owned the home; which is 22 years now. However, I have absolutely no problems with it at all. All indoor plumbing works perfectly and yard is dry. Should I just let sleeping dogs lie or should I get it pumped?
What could happen to the tank if I get it pumped after such a long period of doing nothing to it?
