Soap Bubbles - Double Sided Sink

We have a double sided sink in our kitchen (sink is on an island, which doesn't sound like best design practice) - after doing some dishes, i run the water and run the disposal - I noticed some of the soap bubbles are coming up into the other side of the sink (opposite the disposal). Note - water is NOT backing up into this side, just getting soap bubbles.

Is this the result of a clog somewhere? Really hoping not :-|

a 2 compartment sink that backs up from one side to the other is because of a partial blockage in the line OR
not having a baffle in the continuous waste tee that is under your sink

Doesnt sound like a clog. Just sounds line soapy water filling up the drain. When you run the disposal with the soapy water, it is just causing the water to bubble up from the trap kind of like a bubble bath does.
