I have a Kenmore washing machine which has a problem, the machine will allow water to come in and will wash the clothes, but will not spin and allow the water out.
I removed the time cover and taped the back of the timer and then it allowed the spin and the water out.
Before I purchase and replacment time is there something else I should be looking in to.
Thanks for any help.
Bob

Hi, topcop. You may have noticed that this post has had a number of views, but few responses and I feel that I should explain why. Though we plumbers may have a knack for fixing a variety of plumbing related appliances, we don't always get into the nuts-and-bolts of all things connecting to the water supplies and drainage. Dishwashers, clothes washers, refrigerators and stoves/ranges tend to be better serviced by specialists in appliance repair.
I'm sure there is an appliance repair forum that would better suit your needs, but please keep us in mind for any plumbing issues that you may have in the future. Also, if you find a solution, feel free to follow up on this thread so we all can learn something new and benefit any visitors who may have a similar situation.
Good luck.
