Hi,

Drain from the kitchen is cast iron going down to the basement. Smelled something and found the wall in the basement was wet.

I want to remove the end cap off to get a camera in the pipe find the leak but having a problem removing the pipe cap without the Ridgid #228 Cast Iron Compression Joint tool.

Any ideas? I tried using a pipe wrench to turn it but it seems to want to be pulled out. Cut the rubber sleeve and dig it out is the only other thing I could think of.

Thanks! JW
