Hello, I'm installing a urinal, and I need to tie into the main line.
Work is being done in Los Angeles CA.
Question? is cast iron mandatory below grade? or can I use ABS for the tie-in?
I plan to tie-in a sweep tee under grade, add a clean-out, again using a sweep tee just above finished floor in a newly constructed wall, tie-in a 2" waste drain for the urinal just above the clean-out sweep and continue with a 2" vent straight up through the celling/roof.
Any suggestions and or clarifications would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you.

ABS pipe good for below grade/ slab. What is a sweep tee? Combo is the term or a wye with 1/8th bend. Sanitary tee has a sweep , but smaller. Use a Santee for the urinal on the vertical. Clean out tee for clean out

Do as Mr. David said. A sanitary tee cannot be laid down on its side except for a vent. Use a tee wye.
