I am considering using a tile ready shower base (Tile Redi or KBRS) in a bathroom remodel. I have a concrete floor with wood stud walls, size 34 x 60 shower. Does anyone have experience with these units? I am not experienced with shower pans, but do have some plumbing experience. Any recommendations?
As much as I dislike redirecting you to another forum for advice, I have been helped by the folks at this forum and this seems to be their expertise, because you need to consider placement, waterproofing, wall flexing, tiling and plumbing coupling.
