Help with clawfoot tub
I have a problem with installing my claw foot tub supply lines that has been bugging me for a few weeks now and was wondering if anyone can help me out. I will try to explain this as best as I can without any pics at the moment. Basically what I have are two offset supply lines and that's it, no hardware, no bell escutcheons or anything else. As far as I know what I need to buy are two 3/4" compression fittings to attach the supply lines to the faucet, is that right? Is there anything else that I need to be able to attach them? I have plastic water lines running through my house, so to connect the steel claw foot supply lines to these plastic tubes would it be fine to just push the supply line into the plastic water line and use some adhesive and maybe a clamp to tighten it? Any help is appreciated.
