Default cast iron sewer pipe

replacing cast iron pipe. how do i cut it?

It would depend on how big and how much pipe needs cutting. For a 4" or smaller diameter cut, and just one or two cuts, I've used a sawzall with success. If you have a larger pipe or multiple cuts, I'd recommend a pipe chain cutter, which can be rented if necessary.

I use my gas chop saw and it takes about 15 seconds but if you are in a bathroom I would use something a little more lung friendly. Where is it you are trying to cut?
