We installed this bathroom faucet a couple years ago and have recently had a slow drip on the cold side. We wanted to remove the faucet handle to replace the washer but cannot get it to come off!

We have removed the set screw (see picture) but the handle won't lift off -- can't figure out what's holding it in place or get to any of the parts. We can't remember the make/model or see any identifying marks or name in order to look up any instructions about it.

Does anyone have suggestions or recognize the model so that we can try to get this fixed? We even had one plumber look at it who couldn't figure out how to remove the handle, either.

First off, retighten the nut under the sink -- If you can't pry that handle off, then the square/bell shape escutecheon under handle should unscrew from the valve body,which should remove the handle assemble.(meaning the square/bell escutecheon and the handle is attach together)

If it has a set screw then it is most likely just bonded to the broach on the end of the stem. Those can be hard to remove sometimes . Can't really spray any type of liquid wrench on it, it may damage the finish and counter top.
disconnect the water supply and finish removing it from the sink. Then try tapping on the bottom of the lever with a block of wood.

The top portion (handle,escutecheon,and retainer clip or nut) has to be removed to remove stem/valve body, if i am not mistaken.
