Leaky Brasscraft angle valve

After about a year of service, the body of my Brasscraft angle valve cracked at the 1/2" inlet and caused a leak. The part no. is: G2R17X C1. Anyone else had such a problem? Was it reported to Brasscraft and did they address it?

No, I haven't run into this.

Just curious, what was the type of connection at the inlet? Pipe thread, compression,
CPVC solvent weld, etc?

It was pipe thread.
