Default Is it ok in Los Angeles to have plumbing in exterior walls?

I know in various parts of the country it's against code to have plumbing in exterior walls.... I was just wondering if Los Angeles has that stipluation... seeing as it doesn't drop below freezing here except for a few minutes each decade or so.

As long as you don't get freezing temperatures I don't see any reason why you can't. But being that it's in LA any thing is possible, I would take LiQuId's advice.

Due to asthetics, I don't believe it is permissable anywhere in Los Angeles, except to repair existing plumbing.

Well considering you are ( assuming here ) a plumber, i would figure it would be easy to check out the book, as I could and could find in the appropriate section the answer to my question. otherwise if you are really unsure you should just ask your building inspector ( also an assumption that you are using one )

Being that exterior walls are subject to temperature variations and are always loadbearing I would wager that you are better off to build a plumbing wall and not to dickle around with trying to fudge pipes into the exterior wall and since i'm sure you checked your codebook, you should be able to tell us.... CAN you run piping in exterior walls in LA?

all sarcasim aside, I wouldnt properly understand Why you WOULDN't simply look in the code book.... is there a reason ?
