Toilet/Shower backup - out of ideas

Earlier this year our toilet and shower backed up when the washing machine drained. We called to have it snaked and it seemed to work.
A few days ago after flushing the toilet both the toilet and shower backed up again, though this time not nearly as severely. When water goes down the shower drain the toilet bubbles. When the toilet is flushed it backs up and takes quite a few hours to drain. In the last few days we have tried:
plunging both toilet and shower (no change)
using 6ft auger on toilet (no change)
using 25ft auger on shower (no change)
using 25ft auger on outside access (no change)
running water down vent drain on roof (black water coming out of shower drain, toilet bubbling)

Anything else we could try or is it time to call someone? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

What you have is a main line stoppage. It sounds like your using to small a snake and your just poking holes in the stoppage. A larger machine is needed to remove the stoppage. At this point I would call a professional. There a many things that can be causing your problem. Such as a broken pipe, roots or septic if your not on city sewer.

I agree with John. Sometimes the minor fee paid to a professional is just worth it.
