Installing basket strainers can be frustrating!

An extra pair of hands to hold from the top is often required. The thin nuts used to secure them are hard to grip with large jaw pliers. Make that final turn and you more often than not spin the whole basket strainer body. This could make the basket strainer un-centered. Worse, by weakening the putty seal you risk a leak and call back.

The EZ On Basket Strainer solves all of these problems! Easy, one-handed installation. The unique locking mechanism utilizes three notches and tabs to secure the basket strainer. Three hex screws tighten it up to the sink. Use a phillips or flat head screwdriver. Use a 5/16" nutdriver or hex head nut setter in your cordless drill.

The EZ On stays centered and sealed. Can be installed in less than thirty seconds!

•304 stainless steel body
•Polished drain flange

Price: $8.00
Pros: priced right, doesn't leak, easy to install
Cons: Doesn't fit thick sinks. Works great on stainless steel K-sinks
Recommended? Yes

Comments: I've installed hundreds and never a problem other than the basket will not fit fire-clay sinks and some cast iron sinks.

To correct this it seems you(Pasco) could lower the stamped impressions on the strainers body that catch the bracket that allows the basket to be tightened with the three set screws

That bracket with the screws needs to be stronger also as it has a tendency to bend when you tighten the three screws.

Over all for the price I love the product but I only use them with stainless sinks because of the thick sink installation problem.

I've never had a defective one and that says alot!
