Default timandme

House on a slab, how difficult is it to move washer hook ups, mainly drain (water
lines run overhead.

That is very much dependant on your specific situation.

For example, if the washer is on an exterior wall, or an interior bearing wall, the concrete there will be much thicker than the rest of the slab. Obviously, this makes it a much more involved and difficult process. And, of course, it depends on how far and to where you wish to move it, the piping arrangment under the slab, how everything is vented, etc. So many variables that would need to be looked at.

You will be getting into a lot of concrete cutting and digging. Capping off the old drain will be simple but adding to the system for the new drain and vent will be a big job.

It could be easier if you get lucky and find a 2" drain pipe in the wall at the proposed new location of the washer.Then you can cut in a wye or a comby and just worry about proper venting.
