Default Saniplus pumping toilet vent?

Do the vent pipe have to be ran so that it is slanted upward? Is horzontal OK? IS it OK if it loops around obstructions and forms a trap?

The vent line cannot form a trap. Most codes allow horizontal runs and it is preferable to maintain an upward travel.
