Default no- solder joints sharkbite connections

can you trust the sharkbite type connectors sold in Home Depot and Lowes to not leak or just blow off the pipe? I have never soldered and am trying to change from a solid copper connection to flexible tubing on a faucet and dishwasher replacement.

They seem like a very quick fix but had never heard of them until recently.

They do work but they haven't been around long enough to prove the test of time. Just be sure it's in a accessible location.

as john has said.. I trust the m 100% if theyre in a parkade or such, otherwise Ièm not such a fan, flexible tubing you say ? what type of tubing ?? sharkbite can go from copper to pex and such but when you say faucet and flexiblle tubing in the same sentence I wonder if you are talking about a supply tube.. in which case sharkbit is not the answer.

I Do trust a compression fitting quite a bit ( though you cant use em in concealed locations either ) they have been around longer.
