Default New electrical plate options

I don't know how many others are aware of this newly discovered item, but I found them invaluable when doing a room makeover. They are wall plug covers, which screw directly as a new faceplate, and eliminate the headache of cutting wires and changing outlets in order to change the color, which is usually the outdated ivory color. They can be found at Home Depot, and cost $2.25 a piece. Below are a few pictures which describe their uses a little better.

Now that is a low cost appearance upgrade.

Slick...

Does the plug still go far enough in to be secure though? That would be my concern.

Yes, where the plug enters is real thin, and now that the male plugs have to enter both the holes in the plate and the worn out sockets of the plug, they seem to be tighter and not wiggle around as much.
