Default Trench Drain Question

I just installed a trench drain in my backyard which is connected to a solid 4 inch PVC pipe which I am running underground to the front of my house so the water will get out to the street. Should I install a screen at the end of the 4 inch pipe where it is sticking out of the ground? The only reason I ask is if I don't won't critters possibly live in the trench drain system in the summer time? If not a screen if anyone knows if there is something better I would appreciate it. Any help would be much appreciated.

A screen or grate is a good idea but make sure it is something you can remove semi easily to clean out any junk that may build up inside the pipe.
