Default TWH replacement

I recently replaced a Takagi TK2 with a TK4-IN. All the specs were similar, but after the install is complete, we do not have the same performance at all in terms of temperature fluctuation.

Since the connections are on the bottom instead of the side, I connected the supply and return lines slightly differently and I'm wondering if that is a problem. I have attached a before and after picture. Note that the brass tee's are used differently. Could this cause a water flow problem?

Thanks much....

Are you testing the units with the incoming water temps the same?

Thanks for the reply. The units were a straight swap, so I wasn't able to compare them against each other. The water supply is the same, so I would expect similar performance. Nonetheless, I have a remote on order, so I will hook it up in a few days and see what data I get.

No concerns with the plumbing setup in the picture?
